Many students lose marks not because they do not know the subject matter, but because they struggle to determine whether the Reason correctly explains the Assertion. Here is a systematic method to eliminate ambiguity and secure full marks in these questions.
The Anatomy of an A&R Question
Every A&R problem provides two distinct statements:
- Assertion (): A declarative statement presenting a fact, law, or observation.
- Reason (): A statement that provides a scientific, mathematical, or logical justification.
