JEE Main 2027: A Realistic 11-Month Plan

The dual-target problem

Most Class 11 and 12 students prepare for boards and JEE as if they were two separate syllabi. They are not — roughly 70% of the JEE Main syllabus is shared with the board syllabus.

Month structure

• Months 1–5: Class 11 syllabus, one full unit per week, PYQs after every unit.
• Months 6–9: Class 12 syllabus with the same rhythm plus weekly full-length mocks.
• Months 10–11: Only revision, mocks and error logs. No new topics.

Non-negotiables

1. One full-length mock every week from month 6.
2. An error log reviewed before every new mock.
3. NCERT Chemistry read cover to cover twice.

Marks come from accuracy, not speed

Attempting 60 questions at 90% accuracy beats attempting 75 at 65%. Practise selecting questions, not just solving them.
